Terms of Service

Welcome to Reeed. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reeed mobile application ("App") operated by Ismael Shakverdiev ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Reeed, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reeed, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Reeed is a reading application that allows you to save articles from the web for offline reading. The App extracts and stores article content, providing a clean, distraction-free reading experience.

2.1 Free Features

Free users can import up to 10 articles per day, access basic themes (Light, Grey, Paper, Dark, Black), and use standard fonts (Sans Serif, Roboto, Georgia, Helvetica).

2.2 Premium Features

Premium subscribers receive unlimited article imports, highlights and notes functionality, up to 20 custom folders, premium themes (Sepia, Night, Charcoal), premium fonts (SF Pro, Inter, Merriweather, Verdana), and premium app icons.

3. User Accounts

To use Reeed, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

Reeed offers Premium subscriptions on a monthly ($2.99/month) or yearly ($19.99/year) basis. Yearly subscriptions include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.

4.2 Billing

Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not directly process refunds for App Store purchases.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any notes or highlights you create within the App. By using Reeed, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6.2 Third-Party Content

Articles saved through Reeed are sourced from third-party websites. We do not claim ownership of this content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of saved articles complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of the original publishers.

6.3 Our Intellectual Property

The Reeed app, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

REEED IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OR AVAILABILITY OF THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of Reeed after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
